Cynthia Sicart and I have recently collaborated to provide pro bono assistance to members of the Miami Beach community as they sought various adjustment(s) of status. Serving as a paralegal and research assistant, I found Cynthia to be very organized, diligent, and quite capable of performing all aspects of the tasks we shared. Cynthia brings a well-rounded educational background and a problem-solving perspective to her work, which I found to be an invaluable skill in diagnosing and approaching complex immigration law issues. As an immigrant to the United States herself, I found that she was able to utilize both her context and experience, as well as a genuine sense of empathy, in working with my clients.
Cynthia and I also volunteered with the Surfrider Foundation Miami, FL Chapter, where I had the opportunity to learn of her general character and her commitment to larger causes. Serving as an integral member of the Surfrider Team, it was clear that Cynthia is both dedicated and committed to community service and with helping others. I highly recommend Cynthia, in not just the immigration context, but any way in which she applies herself. If given the opportunity, I would not hesitate to collaborate with her again.
